About Us

"To provide senior citizens, 55 and older. with housing facilities and services specifically designed to meet their social needs, and to promote their health, security, happiness and usefulness in longer living."

First thing's first: Fountain Place is not a nursing home! We are an indepenent living facility, foucsed on giving our residents the freedom to enjoy life as they please, and maintain their independence, dignity, financial security, and well being. Residents are free to come and go as they please, and live their lives as they wish.

Dining Hall

We offer delicious home cooked meals three times a day in our dining hall.

TV Room

To the side of the dining hall, we have the TV and reading room.

Outside of the dining room, we have an open air patio with a view of the lake.

Front and center, our fountain stands in front of the doors to our main building.

Fountain Place Independent Living Apartments is nestled in the lovely foothills of the Ozarks, in a small wooded community in Arkansas called Cherokee Village. It is a home for people who see easy living in a serene and peaceful living enviorment surrounded by abundant wildlife.

Enjoy the beautiful North Arkansas Ozarks as you relax on our back yard.

From select apartments, you can view the nearby lake over the hills and trees.

Hear what our residents have to say.

Craig Maurer

Craig has been a resident for three years, and in that time Fountain Place has cared for him just as much as he cares for us. He has a story about a tooth and a bowl of soup that he would like to share.

Hughes Maranilla

Hughes is a new resident of Fountain Place, but she has been a long time resident of Cherokee Village. She moved in to avoid the struggles of home owning so she could enjoy her life how she saw fit.

Kim Dulaney

The manager, Kim, would also like to say a few words as well.
